The usuall staples of city building public service sector are there too such as Schools, fire and police coverage. Traffic, pollution, trash woes, healthcare and deathcare. This game is pretty awesome, especially if you like dealing with the realities of a medium/large city. With the steamrolling massive sales and ever growing community- probably a lot of SC4 stalwarts will finally be persuaded to jump ship- Skylines is gonna grow to become epic and it will be around for a long time! The ease with which folks can mod skylines really has opened up the game for an exciting future. Modular civic buildings and services is also a winner in SC2013. Skylines misses a day/night cycle which both versions of SimCity have- and it looks fantastic in SC2013. Skylines has taken a lot of inspiration fromboth SC4 & SimCity 2013 and I have to admit there are certain aspects/functions that SimCity 2013 does much better although its limitations leave it very far behind in the race. Comparing the two games is like comparing this years model BMW with the 2003 model. The biggest advantages over SC4 are the impressive massive maps and the flexibility of being able to free form roads.
Skylines is at the beginning of its journey and the future is looking good. It now looks very old and has almost come to its natural end. SimCity 4 is/was a great game that became polished over the 12 years its been around.
